Used in case of projecting laterals such as concrete, iron or steel, collapsed liners, calcite build-up and other accretions. A remote control reamer goes inside the pipe and clean it in order to prepare it for  further testing and repair works.

Also, it is used after the lining process is completed to open the house connections from inside the pipe.
